Three more days at home till I’m back at Tech. Winter break definitely flew by quickly, and as cliche as that sounds, it’s true. Most of my break was spent working, but I didn’t mind since I love my work family and I got paid.
The last couple of weeks was spent catching up with high school friends. I’m really glad that there’s still those few people who I can truly call friends and just talk about anything and everything with when I get home from school. In fact, today I spent the day thrifting and getting froyo with Lauren. I forgot how hipster she was :p…those damn cat sweaters. Haha people just don’t understand us…
However, as much as I love being home, I do believe that it is time for me to go back to school. I can easily feel my brain turning into mush, my handwriting becoming sloppier, and my liver being somewhat healthy again. Will I miss my Ashburn life? Yes. Will I miss not having to worry about what I’m going to eat for dinner? God yes. Or not having to squint at a tiny t.v. and walking on disgusting, unvacuumed floors? OHH YES. But I guess I DO miss doing whatever I want, having a social life, and THE GYM. No offense Sport & Health, but a 7-day pass is just not enough.
Anyways, gonna go start that new show Revenge. Heard it was good, and everyone I know is easily/quickly becoming obsessed with it. As Lauren stated, “It’s like gossip girl meets CSI. HOT PEOPLE.”
